Born and raised in Tyler, Courtney Klepfer is a proud East Texas native with a deep-rooted love for her community. A former Kilgore College Rangerette and a University of Texas at Tyler alumna, she holds a degree in Communications with a minor in Public Relations. Her commitment to leadership is further highlighted by her graduation from Leadership Tyler (Class 31).

16 Years of Heartfelt Expertise

With 16 years of experience across Retirement Living, Hospice, and Elder Law, Courtney found her true calling in the senior living industry. Today, as the owner of Home-Aid Caregivers, she combines her background in marketing and business development with an unmatched passion for serving the elderly.

A Pillar of the Community

Courtney doesn’t just run a business; she leads the community. One of her proudest achievements was serving as Chairman of the Senior Resource Committee, where she spearheaded the effort to make Tyler the second city in Texas to be officially recognized as “Dementia Friendly.” Her tireless service has earned her the “Volunteer of the Quarter” award twice from the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce.

Leadership & Advocacy

Courtney believes that volunteering is a two-way street of fulfillment. Her extensive involvement includes:

  • Board Member: Adult Protective Services (Texas Dept. of Disability & Aging Resources)
  • Board Member: Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce & South Tyler Rotary
  • Development Committee: Alzheimer’s Alliance of Smith County & Leadership Tyler
  • Recognition: Named by Texas Bank & Trust as one of the “People Who Make a Difference” for her work with Alzheimer’s support.

Life Beyond Caregiving

When she isn’t advocating for seniors, Courtney lives in Bullard with her husband, Ben, and their son, Dwight. They share a love for the outdoors, traveling in their RV, and tending to their farm-raised family cows.
